Rotary Lunch - Farnham Memorial Hall - 22nd March

Having seen the Pantastic Players perform in 2007 for the Farnham Lions at the Rural Life Centre, Tilford we were invited to play for a Rotary Lunch for the elderly of Farnham attended by the Mayor.

I took along Pantasia and Panache and they played brilliantly. Carol from Panstix helped play a couple of pieces as Lyn was at her son's Wedding.

Kate from Pandemonium has also joined Panache for playing at gigss.

More than one person said it was the best entertainment they had ever had.

St. Lawrence Summer Fair - Saturday June 13th

As Lyn's grandson now goes to St. Lawrence she gained us a gig booking here for their Summer Fair. Panache and Pantasia played a couple of great sets of pieces including Blue Danube Waltzes, Moon River, Don't Stop Believin' and Eleanor Rigby.

This was the first gig where Panache wore their new uniforms and very smart they looked too.

Reigate Street Party - Saturday 4th July

Ellen from Pantasia's Aunt invited us to her annual Street Party which they have held ever since the Golden Jubilee. It was a hot, but very windy day, and fortunately all players were able to perform.
We had the added bonus of an ice cream van to cool us down.

The residents seemed very appreciative of our performance.

Bookham Belles Monday 20th July

Bookham's brand new WI group for the younger lady invited us to their Summer Party which was held in the beautifully restored Tythe Barn. Despite the inclement weather preventing us from playing outside we enjoyed the lovely venue and warm crowd.

We were joind by members of Pantasia and Panominal and Panstix to help cover missing players.

Private Party Saturday 16th August

After performing at Claremont we were approached by a couple of the people listening and they invited us to play for their annual brunch at their home in Guildford. It was a beautiful garden and we played under their gazebo due to the sunny weather. We were joined by Pantasia as it was holiday time and a few players were away.

Private Party Saturday 26th September

We were invited to play for this private party back in April and sadly due to unforeseen circumstances; University Open Days, foot operations and life saving courses we were short of players. However Pantasia and Panache were very warnly received at this Surprise 70th birthday for a Bookham resident.

The family had fun trying out the pans!

Charity Golf Day Monday 28th September

One of my ex players who came to our recent concert with the Melodians invited us to perform for a Charity Golf Day at Burhill Golf Club for breakfast and before dinner.

It was a beautifully sunny morning and we managed without Lyn and Jack but Karen from Sound of Steel hepled us out for breakfast and then Jack joined us for pre dinner playing. This was much colder and so we moved into the clubhouse.

The morning group on the 18th Green below and the evening group inside the Clubhouse (below right)
