Community Entertains Show - Barn Hall - Friday 6th and Saturday 7th December

We tried something a bit different this year as Joanna made a film for the songs which we played simultaneously and it was a great hit with the audience.

They played an arrangement of Hans Zimmer's "Time", the theme from the film Inception followed by Save the Last Dance for Me and The Pink Panther

Head's Leaving Do Trinity School - Leatherhead - Tuesday 23rd July

As 2 members of Pandemonium were away on school trips - Ellie to Ethiopia and Michael C to Indonesia I took Anne and Claire from Steelicious/Panache. We played 3 sets alongside a lovely elderly irish gentleman playing the guitar and singing. It was a very hot and humid day.

Concert with Chobham Handbells - Saturday 29th June

I was dreading this concert as I hate playing in a concert situation, but as it turned out it this was probably the best gig we have ever done. At last "Pandemonium" received the recognition they rightly deserved. The astonishment from the audience was audible as they joined the handbells in "Just Can't Wait to be King" and the excitement of hearing the William Tell Overture had them clapping along.

This concert was held to raise money for the hospice that cared for the a little girl called Ellie who was a family friend of one of my adult pan players.

The handbell team at St Lawrence Church in Chobham teamed up with the steel band Pandemonium for the show in memory of Ellie Gordon who passed away in February

Fetcham Festival - Saturday 22nd June

Michael's father is in the Fetcham Scouts so asked us if we could play for the Fetcham Festival this year, having missed out on it in 2012 when we were playing at the Twickeree. Anne helped me cover the missing members of the group.

Village Day - Saturday 15th June

We were unsure if this would be the year we would get wet, but fortunately the rain timed itself very well appearing just as we were unloading the lorry to go onto the field into our new position nearer the hall and next to the bar !

Caribbean Party- Effingham - Sunday 24th February 2013

We were invited to play for a family party for a friend of one of Panache at Fetcham Village Hall. Panache played alongside Pandemonium and Steelicious.

Excerpts from a thank you letter:

I just wanted to thank you and your wonderful bands for your delightful entertainment at Virginia's party. Virginia said it was just what she had wished for, and she was full of praise for you and all your players - how lovely that you all helped to make this come true for her. A memory that will always stay with us; such a lovely family and friends get together that Virginia was truly well enough to enjoy.

Pandemonium - as always, your playing was perfect! It made such a warm welcome for all the guests as they arrived, and set the whole Caribbean party atmosphere from the start. Although everyone seemed to be chattering away and not specifically listening to you, we heard lots of compliments about your playing. Those of us who know your repertoire really appreciated your learning new songs specially for the party, and we loved hearing our old favourites too - well done and thank you all!

Wedding - Warren House - Kingston

What a beautiful venue and a lovely Wedding to be invited to play for. And what perfect weather after it had rained all the day before. We played in the Lounge of Warren House in Kingston.

Pandemonium had learned "Here Comes the Bride" especially and Joanna had arranged Bruno Mars - "Marry You".
